"Relocation"
has become an important and rewarding part of my real estate career. My
responsibility as a relocation specialist is more than finding a home
for you to purchase. To some it means dislocation, but to most it¹s a
new beginning. I combine my knowledge and experience as a third
generation Kansas Citian to cushion the impact of the move to our area.
Expectations
of Kansas City run the gamut from the flat Great Plains to Dorothy and
Toto to tornadoes. During my six decades living here I have not
witnessed any of these. Based upon experiences of raising two daughters,
an active participation in civic and cultural activities, and several
rewarding careers, my personal views of Kansas City can be summed up as
follows:
- A
friendly town with Midwestern values
- An
outstanding public education system at all levels
- A
highway system by which you can reach city center in about 30
minutes.
- Among
the most affordable housing in the nation.
Steve
Katz is a third generation Kansas Citian. His specialty is
giving newcomers a tour of the city with a dash of its history. Steve's
love of the arts, music, and restaurants are reflected in his enthusiasm
for Kansas City. He has authored two books titled Guides
to Cycling Kansas City.
Almost all rides include a place to eat and some battlefields, scenic
spots and parks.
Steve
also possesses a financial background as a result of twenty-one years as
a stockbroker. He has an active interest in civic, cultural, and
charitable organizations which include Harvesters-community food bank,
Big Brothers / Big Sisters, and a breakfast club he started called Eggs
& Issues. Steve's knowledge and love of Kansas
City makes him a great tour guide and housing specialist with buyers
relocating to Kansas City.
